Genuine mental illness is certainly no laughing matter, and millions of people all over the world suffer terribly with conditions like schizophrenia or severe depression. Everyone knows that acting a little crazy sometimes can be both fun and entertaining, but sometimes a person might act strangely due to a condition that is not a form of mental illness. Our bodies are complex systems that depend on a number of things being balanced in order to function normally. Sometimes it only takes a simple lack of a certain mineral or overproduction of a hormone to throw us off track and cause us to behave in very unusual ways.
