The longer a missing airliner with 227 passengers and 12 crew members aboard remains missing, the weirder the theories get as to what happened to it. Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 has been missing for almost two months. With all the high-tech wizardry available to pilots, air traffic controllers, the military and spy agencies, one would not think that a large aircraft like a Boeing 777 could just vanish into thin air. At the moment, that seems to be a theory about as good as any other. There are some, most likely the usual suspects, who claim that they know what happened to the missing airliner. These theories are pretty far out there but until the plane is found, people will be coming up with their own wacky ideas.
You know what they say. Follow the money. This theory says that someone wanted to collect on the life insurance policy of a passenger. We know bad people do occasionally kill someone in order to get the life insurance money, but in this case, it seems like the person responsible would have to be James Bond. A group of people might be able to pull it off, but it would have to be a very hefty policy in order for them all to collect enough to make it worthwhile.
