We humans just love traditions and we incorporate them in many aspects of our lives. Traditions are often quite unique to people who live in certain geographic regions, ethnic backgrounds and cultures, and what seems like a perfectly reasonable tradition in one culture could be seen as a little strange in another. Consuming alcohol is an activity that seems to lend itself to tradition in many cultures around the world, and depending on what you are accustomed to, some of them may seem quite strange.
