There are people that claim that they derive benefit from using urine as medicine. Many of them will actually drink it, although usually it is their own, so that probably makes it a bit more palatable. Wow, do “urine” and “palatable” ever belong in the same sentence? Anyway, some folks believe that urine effectively treats conditions such as acne, strep throat, ear aches and can help whiten teeth (gross!). It’s pretty obvious to most of us that urine is something that the body no longer wants. That’s why it is expelled regularly. Those who decide to put it back in their bodies may be taking a risk with their health.
