While we admit there may be certain individuals who may be driven crazy by the genre of rock music by the same name, that’s not what we’re talking about. Actual heavy metals such as lead and mercury really wreak havoc when they are present in sufficient quantities in the body. In addition to making someone extremely sick, heavy metal poisoning can also cause cause hallucinations, depression, anxiety, irritability, and confusion.
