As you may have already suspected, this is a course about soap operas that explores the “familial relationships of characters” that are featured on these long-running daytime television programs. Come to think of it, this could be a legitimate area of study considering how difficult it can be to figure out who’s actually related to whom on those programs. The University of Wisconsin has offered this course.
