8. Mirapex

This drug is used to treat Parkinson’s disease, a degenerative disorder of the nervous system which normally affects people over 50 years of age. Mirapex is used to treat both Parkinson’s and Restless Leg Syndrome. Some of the side effects, however, might result in circumstances worse than a strong desire to move one’s legs. Some patients on Mirapex have reportedly experienced an increased desire to engage in activities like gambling and drinking. Some have reportedly become alcoholics or gambling addicts. We don’t suppose we need to delve into what kind of problems might result from either one of those unfortunate circumstances.
