7. Meteor Strike

Although it seems quite unlikely, we suppose it is possible that the aircraft was struck by a falling meteor. Most of us have seen that monster meteor that caused a lot of damage in Russia a while back, so we know those things can pack a punch. It seems that an event like that would have resulted in a lot of debris in the water somewhere, which you would think would have found by now with all the searching that’s been going on.
