A deputy with the Hinds County, Mississippi Sheriff’s Department faces charges after a dispute led to a fight that resulted in the death of a basketball coach. The deputy, who was off-duty at the time and was refereeing a basketball game where he got into an argument with one of the coaches. The deputy allegedly punched the coach, who later died at the hospital from blunt force trauma to the head.
