2. Thorny Devil

Here’s one creature you may not even recognize as a lizard if you happen to come across one. This thing is caused the thorny devil for a reason – it looks like something that just crawled up from hell! This lizard is covered with nasty-looking spikes from head to toe. Speaking of its head, when these lizards feel threatened they tuck their head down between their front legs and present their fake head as a defense tactic.
