4. Shadow Plane

Another possible reason for the aircraft’s disappearance is that it shadowed another 777 that happened to be in the area at that time. In other words, it flew so close to another aircraft that it was seen by radar as only one plane. That’s another theory that’s out there, and if there’s anything to it, it means the plane could be almost anywhere.
