6. Parabens

Sounds like a race of aliens from Star Wars or something, but parabens are actually preservatives that are also recognized as endocrine disruptors. These chemical preservatives have been found in human breast cancer tissue, which may indicate that they are carcinogens. One paraben in particular, methylparaben reacts with ultraviolet light after being applied to the skin which can result in accelerated aging of the skin and damage to DNA.
