3. Solar Wind

We’ve all heard of solar power that is derived the traditional way from the heating of the sun. What you may not know is that the sun also produces a non-stop flow of charged particles that is known as the solar wind. If there were a way to harness just a small fraction of the energy produced by this phenomenon, it could provide more energy than we could ever hope to use. Research scientists are currently working on plans to use special satellites to collect energy from the solar winds and send it down to earth to be used.
