Quantum physics. We’ve probably all heard of quantum physics or quantum mechanics at one time or another, but have you ever delved a little deeper? We promise we won’t go too deep, because frankly, this stuff makes our heads hurt just like it does for most of us “average” people. There are no geniuses like Albert Einstein or Stephen Hawking here! There is one thing, however, that we are pretty sure of with regard to all this quantum stuff. Life, existence and our consciousness are lot more weird and less understood than we normally think. See if these little tidbits from the world of quantum physics don’t blow your mind.

1. Quantum Entanglement

It’s a bit hard to describe this stuff so bear with us while we try to make it as easy as possible for readers (and ourselves!) to understand. Imagine two tiny particles, like stuff that exists at the sub-atomic level, or in other words, really, really, really small stuff. Researchers discovered that two particles that were identical would always behave in exactly the same way, and get this, no matter where they were! They could be separated by a billion light years, yet still somehow stay “in touch” with each other. If one would spin a certain way, the other would do so also. It suggests that there may be methods of communication that we have not yet begun to understand. Einstein called this “spooky action at a distance.” Gotta love the guy!
