Don’t be fooled by the fairly ordinary appearance of this lizard that is native to Africa. When these creatures feel threatened they can roll themselves into a circular shape that nicely highlights the fierce-looking spiky scales on their body. That tends to make them look a lot less appetizing in the eyes of a predator.
