7. Duck Master

We can verify this unusual occupation since we’ve actually been present during the proceedings and were able to see the duck master hard at work. The ducks at the renowned Peabody Hotel in Memphis, Tennessee are treated like royalty. Their job is to swim about in the fountain in the hotel’s lobby and look good. Twice a day the ducks are escorted by the duck master from their quarters to the fountain. It’s a proceeding that is accompanied by much pomp and circumstance and has attracted visitors from around the world to witness it.
