Australian bushrangers are roughly equivalent to the historic outlaws of the American west. One bushranger was so adept at escaping from prison that authorities decided to build a cell especially for him after numerous escapes. They believe it is so secure that they have promised to forgive all his crimes if he manages to escape again.
