We thought we’d end this list with a true “Duh!” moment. Yes, someone traveling at McClellan – Palomar in California actually checked a bag with 80 pounds of weed in it. As the TSA points out regarding this discovery, they are trained primarily to look for explosives and other items that could be a danger to airline passengers, but it was difficult for them to miss a duffel bag packed with 80 pounds of marijuana. For the sake of the moron who checked that bag, he better have used a fake name when he checked in.
