When we think of criminals, we probably don’t think of people who have cleanliness high on their list of priorities. Laundry detergent, like so many other consumer goods, has gone up significantly over the years and it is now considered valuable enough to be traded for things like drugs and alcohol. Tide, a brand that has been around for decades, is particularly popular with thieves, but it’s not clear if that’s a good thing or bad thing for the company that makes it.
