Just about everyone has a phobia or two. Some of the most common phobias include claustrophobia (a fear of small or confined spaces), arachnophobia (fear of spiders) and acrophobia (fear of heights). Those are pretty typical and there are probably millions of people in the world that suffer from one or more of them. What we don’t hear as much about are the phobias that are less common and may seem very strange to most people. Below are some phobias that you probably have never heard of.
This indicates a fear of dolls. Although it’s understandable that some dolls could be considered creepy, people with pediophobia tend to be afraid of all dolls no matter what they look like. They are likely to be fearful of mannequins and robots as well. Fortunately for people with this problem, robots are not yet an everyday sight but in the future we could begin to see a lot more of them.
