A Scottish geneticist apparently had way more faith in technology than was actually warranted back in the 1920’s when he predicated that fewer than one-third of babies would be born as a result of a pregnancy. He was expecting that the majority of babies born would be grown in laboratories by 1968. There may be a few women who like that idea, but we’re guessing that the majority of moms treasure the experience of carrying their developing offspring in their womb as nature intended. Furthermore,did this guy think people were just going to give up on all those enjoyable baby-making activities? He may have had other problems beyond being a terrible prognosticator.
