Futuristic artwork featuring domed climate-controlled cities are pretty commonplace, but a futurist named Buckminster Fuller predicted in the 1930’s that Canada would some day enjoy a tropical climate thanks to a massive dome. Thankfully, humans have learned a thing or two since those days and now realize what a terrible impact something like that would have on the global environment.
