A couple in Massachusetts has quite a racket going for themselves between 1997 and 2005 as they collected over $200,000 in insurance settlements after filing claims that they had eaten glass due to negligent supermarkets and restaurants. Eventually the insurance companies got suspicious and launched an investigation that revealed that the couple had been eating glass intentionally, and blaming the stores and restaurants.
