5. Mice

This is another classic. TV images from the 1950’s come to mind, which show the helpless housewife standing on a chair screaming while a tiny mouse terrorizes her. Although it is a bit of a cliché, there is no doubt that there are people who have very real and legitimate phobias where mice and other rodents are concerned. Regardless of whether or not they scare you, they are not something most people want to see in their home.
