Love ‘em or hate ‘em (I think most of us lean in the direction of the latter), politicians are actually entertaining at times, especially when they aren’t trying to be! Despite their attempts to appear intelligent and dignified much of the time, they are simply human beings whose status has been artificially elevated above the rest of us. Enjoy some of the stupidest statements ever made by politicians.

1. Dan Quayle, Vice President of the United States, 1989-1993
