We know that being polite and humble is very important in Japanese society, so it’s not all that surprising that we find such a service in Japan. There is actually more than one company in Japan that will take care of those awkward apologies for you. Unfortunately, this is not a particularly affordable service since a telephone apology goes for nearly $100 and an in-person apology will cost you almost $250. For that kind of money, you would have to be feeling pretty bad about whatever it is you did that calls for an apology!
