9. DIY Dentistry

We’ve probably all seen the comedy shows on television where someone ties a string on a loose tooth and attempts to pull it out by tying the other end to a doorknob or some other moving object in an effort to remove the tooth quickly. A truck driver traveling down the highway in Alabama probably would have been better off trying a solution like that rather than trying to pull his own loose tooth out while driving! The trucker’s skills as a dentist leave little to be desired – much like his skills as a truck driver, since he lost control of the rig and drove it off the highway and into a ditch. It’s a good bet that the trucker’s insurance rates went a lot higher after he reported that accident to his insurance company.
