Obtaining credit is something that’s surprisingly easy for Americans. Even people who have bailed out on big debts in the past will eventually be welcomed back into the fold and offered loans and credit cards again. What’s key to understand this is to realize that the money lenders need a constant supply of borrowers to fleece so they can keep making money. Without borrowers there are no loans, and without loans there is no interest to collect. Being in debt is practically a “right” in America.
