Don’t get the wrong impression regarding this annual event. Sure, it would be reasonable to assume that this is a gathering that has something to do with eggs, but the reality of it is that eggs are only loosely tied in to this one. Unknown to us, and we suspect many others, there exists a brand of barbeque grill called the “The Big Green Egg.” If that wasn’t unusual enough, this particular brand apparently attracts fans that are enthusiastic enough about the devices to organize an event that features grilling competitions, product demonstrations and a lot of eating. The egg-shaped grills have been in production since 1974 and are still a hot item on the market today.
