1. Lucy The Elephant

Obviously, the photo reveals that we are not talking about an actual, living, breathing elephant. Lucy is a man-man elephant that has been sitting by the ocean in Margate, New Jersey for more than a century. Lucy is actually a very unusual building that has spent time as both a restaurant and a home during its time. These days it’s open to the public as a tourist attraction.
