It seems just about everyone has heard of the hit TV program “Breaking Bad,” a drama series about a high school chemistry teacher that decides to start manufacturing methamphetamine when he learns that he has a terminal illness. In honor of the series’ final episode a contest was created that would reward the winner with a trip to watch the taping of that final episode in person. The winner, a 28-year-old man from San Carlos Park, Florida may have been more than just a fan, however. He was arrested at the beginning of the new year for “possessing synthetic narcotics and a controlled substance .” Neighbors reported strange activity at the man’s residence including daily deliveries from FedEx. Law enforcement officials have not revealed the exact nature of the man’s activities but it may be a safe bet to assume that he was doing his best to emulate the star of one of his favorite television shows.
