Despite the fact that the man featured in this story was not charged with a crime, the story is simply too good to pass up. While shopping at Home Depot, a 32-year-old Michigan man queued up in the checkout line while he prepared to leave the store. When he approached the cashier he reached for his wallet and ended up with a hole in his posterior instead of a hole in his wallet. The man apparently gripped the trigger on the .40-caliber pistol he had tucked into his back pocket instead of his wallet, resulting in an injury that will no doubt make him the butt of many jokes. Not seriously injured in the mishap and properly licensed to carry the firearm, he was treated at a local hospital and released. A prescription for a gun safety class would not have been a bad idea.
