This is one of those episodes that makes you wonder, “what are the odds?” A 68-year-old Arkansas man was clearly a little more than ticked off at a former employer of his and decided to hatch a plot to have the man killed. I think most of us agree that it’s pretty stupid to be ordering hits on someone in the first place, but this disgruntled senior took stupid to a new level when he unknowingly broadcast his plan to his intended victim. While the would-be murderer was plotting with his alleged hit man, he accidentally placed a phone call with the cell phone that was in his pocket. Wouldn’t you know it, the number he called belonged to the guy he was planning to rub out! The would-be victim listened in stunned disbelief for some 90 minutes while the two worked out the details of the murder. The “mastermind” was arrested by police and charged with conspiracy to commit murder.
