Cleveland, Ohio Housing Court Judge Ray Pianka adopted an unusual approach to making a local landlord pay for his crimes. The landlord owns dozens of properties in the area and was in violation of several building codes. The landlord was ordered to pay a $100,000 fine and was sentenced to six months house arrest in one of his own run-down rental properties.
