It might pay to be extra nice if you happen to be pulled over by the police in the state of New Jersey. A bizarre law there states that it is unlawful to frown at a police officer. Those of us familiar with societal norms in the northeast have a hard time believing this one is ever enforced. We suspect three-quarters of the state’s residents would be considered criminals if it was!
