Speaking of things that look potentially dangerous but are really harmless, let’s hear it for grenades! It’s hard to understand how someone could be stupid or naive enough to bring a dud grenade on a commercial flight with them, but the TSA reports that it is not uncommon. It would seem that anyone foolish enough to try this has about the same quantity of brain matter residing in their skull as an inert grenade has explosive material inside of it. I mean who’s going to think the TSA is going to take a second look at something that looks just like a real grenade?
