3. Sleep

Most of us know that sleep is essential to health and normal cognitive function. Stay up for a couple of days and you’ll find out just how crazy you’ll begin to feel (and act) when you cross that threshold into serious sleep deprivation land. Some of the side effects include hallucinations, paranoia, and delusions. Who needs “magic mushrooms” or LSD when you can get the same effect for free by depriving yourself of sleep? Not that we’re recommending that, in fact, we are most definitely not.
