Those who imbibe too heavily on this Caribbean Island nation are likely to seek revenge when they are suffering from a nasty hangover. Who do they go after? The bottle that contained the spirits that they imbibed, of course! Those who practice voodoo will often take 13 black-headed pins and stick them into the cork of the bottle they drank from. We’re not sure this is done primarily to help relieve their hangover or somehow punish the bottle, or perhaps just the cork.
