10. Clonorchiasis

This condition results from infection by the liver fluke, also known as Clonorchis sinensis, a worm-like creature that lives in the bile ducts of the liver. It has recently been proven that the infestation can cause cancer of the liver and bile duct. It is most commonly contracted through eating undercooked fish and is much more common in Asia. Sushi lovers beware!
