3. Bee Venom

Here we start to get into weird-sounding cures that actually may have some benefit. In many cases, live bees are placed up against the skin so that the bee can sting the patient. Bee venom has been used as a treatment for herpes, multiple sclerosis, tendonitis and arthritis. A lot of these treatments are experimental and may have not yet proven to be effective.
