6. Nazi Sun Gun

You probably won’t find many people that will argue that the Nazis were good for much of anything, but it’s hard to deny that they weren’t a clever bunch – at least when it came to achieving their own evil goals. This idea involved launching a giant mirror into orbit around the earth and using it to direct the sun’s rays at whatever they wanted to destroy. They had grand plans to burn up entire cities but their plans never quite got off the ground.
