These critters are pretty peaceful by nature. When threatened this lizard usually tries its best to avoid conflict. It will usually attempt to escape by running away while stopping and starting erratically in an effort to confuse its pursuer. If that doesn’t work, it can puff itself up to make it look bigger than it actually is. And of that doesn’t work, it pulls out all the stops and lets loose with the ninja moves. It can actually spray blood from its eyes at its enemies! The blood is said to have a foul taste to animals that normally prey in the lizard and they can shoot it up to five feet!
