7. Calliope Hummingbird

It’s not unusual to hear about birds that migrate long distances, but considering the size of the Calliope Hummingbird (about 3 inches long) and the fact that it can migrate about 2,500 miles, it’s a pretty impressive feat. These tiny birds only weight about as much as a penny, and are though to be the smallest long-distance migrating bird in the world.
