Much like his tyrannical son Kim Jong Un, the late North Korean dictator Kim Jong Il ruled his country with an iron fist, and what may have been a bit of oatmeal between his ears. A lover of movies, Kim had an enviable collection of some 20,000 DVDs and videotapes that included personal favorites such as James Bond, Rambo, Friday the 13th and anything with Godzilla. During 1978 he arranged the kidnapping of South Korean movie maker Shin Sang-ok and his movie star wife. He then forced them to make movies for his entertainment until they managed to escape in 1986.
