2002 was a good year for Michael Carroll, a very good year. The laborer won £9.7 million at the tender of age of 19.  After buying himself four homes,four luxury automobiles and a stake in a Glasgow football club his jackpot had been significantly reduced. After all that, he still managed to get himself into trouble with the law and served nine months in prison. By 2007 he had virtually nothing left.
