The fact that sexual predators use the internet in their attempts to lure victims is no surprise. What is surprising is when one of these predators turns out to be a police sergeant. A 30-year-old sergeant with the Bunnell police department was arrested when it was discovered that he was posing as a teenaged girl online, and attempting to convince boys to send him explicit photos of themselves. The sergeant was arrested and later released on bond to await his day in court. It’s probably a pretty safe bet that his law enforcement career is over.
