7. Fennec Fox

Who ever heard of a fox as a pet? Normally they are not thought of as good candidates to adopt as pets but the Fennec fox is different. These critters are native to desert areas and are said to be quite intelligent. They are also quite compact, reaching a size that’s roughly equivalent to a Chihuahua when fully grown. These little guys can even be trained to use a litter box like a cat.
