These are not yet on the market as far as we know, but at least one company is experimenting with things like internet-connected power drills. Applications for these kinds of innovations might be better suited to businesses like contractors who would be able to track the number of screws used during a project. We’re not convinced that the average Joe would benefit from something like this, although someone is probably working on an idea that could make us eat our words in the future.
