3. Tsunami

As we witnessed back in 2004, tsunamis can cause tremendous damage to property and loss of life. The 2004 tsunami laid waste to miles of coastline in countries like Thailand, Indonesia, Sri Lanka and India. It is believed that more then 230,000 people lost their lives as a wave of water 100 feet high impacted some areas. The threat of a tsunami is always looming, and it’s just a matter of time before another one strikes somewhere in the world. We can only hope that its effects will be minor and not result in any lives lost.
