In one of the most shocking and gruesome accidents to take place on a movie set, Morrow was decapitated during the filming of Twilight Zone: The Movie when a helicopter crashed after being damaged by pyrotechnics on July 23, 1982. Also killed by the falling helicopter were child actors Myca Dinh Le, and Renee Shin-Yi Chen. Morrow was 53 years old.
